We live 2 minutes from this location and we've tried it about 5 times. 5 out of 5 times we were disappointed! They ran out of chicken once and they didn't tell me until after I paid that it would be 20 minutes to get the chicken! On another occasion they gave me beans that was all liquid and hardly any beans. Twice they forgot to give me a side and when I returned to claim them they were never apologetic. We steer clear now. I go to La Granja which is a little further and pricier instead.

I love this place. It's clean and well kept and the service is great. The menu is a winner too, and as far as "fast food" type places goes, this one delivers the best bang for your buck. Not to mention it is way healthier than some of those other fast food chains out their.

You may not notice this Pollo Tropical, hidden in a mini strip mall in West Pembroke Pines. That said, it's worth knowing about. Because it's newer compared to other locations, and shares an address with a few nice stores ranging from a pool supply shop to two grooming locations (one for haircuts, and one for machismo head shaving), this PT gives the impression that it's a little nicer than other locations. In fact, it is. The store, at least on my visit, was unusually clean and organized and parking was not a problem. I don't stray often from my faves on the menu...a chicken chop bowl with extra curry mayo? You really can't go wrong. A friend of mine insists it's all about the spicy pineapple sauce. In any event, if you have a hankering for Pollo T. and are in this hood, you will find this location to be a great choice. One of the best car wash/oil location joints is just a few steps away west on Pines, and there's plenty to do. And, I can never stress enough when writing about West Pines, you are really close to the best free lunch in town...Costco!

What's wrong in this location? It is the 3rd time that they sold me burnt food in this place when you order to go or drive thru.

"TIP"REFERENCE TO: Pollo Tropical, or ANY Other CHAIN...FRANCHISE. Owen,Operated Business.Do other Consumers, and The Community a Favor.GIVE A CALL TO CORPORATE, Yes! That's What I DO. They Need/Want to Know. That Logo that Represents, That Business. Is A Privilege. They have To Abide by "STANDARDS" That maintain the Credibility of this Name.Call, and Talk to Corporate.Remember, weather it's Pollo Tropical,Hotel or Supermarket. Corporate Knows CASH IS KING. FYI, When calling, Speak To A Live Agent or Ask For A Supervisor. It Creates Jobs For People In America. Another HINT,HINT...DO NOT CALL THE NUMBER On The Payment Receipt. For Fast Food CHAIN Restaurants. Take a Look At The Drink Cups, And Even The Bags.

Chicken and rice in this place particularly is a hit and miss! Inconsistent quality. If you go late (passed 10 P) they sometimes don't have chicken. Management and staff moody and rude. Their sauces and soup are good. Complained to main office, still no change.

This is not a bad place. I don't know how people expect this to be like a 5-star restaurant. Fairly decent chicken dishes. They tend to overcook the food to the point where the chicken is dried out and burned. But it's affordable and quick when I don't feel like cooking. As for the community sauce station they have open, I'd definitely keep away from that. Meh.

They need new employees all the employees in the front are horrible and rude especially the cleaning lady marie I think her name is very rude and weird

Pollo tropical is a great place to eat Latin fast food. I've had pollo tropical for many years now and thankfully I moved and it's not to far from home. The service in this particular pollo tropical is not very good. Lines are always long and they usually have one person getting the order and one to get the food together. It takes forever and this is the reason why I gave it 3 stars.

This is the only restaurant that I can go in and out without much wait time. I can leave my job pick up my food and be at my desk in less than 15 minutes. Love the fact that it's hidden from the world. BUT funny that strategically placed next to a Wendy's. Today's drive though experience was good, you can tell the cashier was a bit new though. But I remember the day that I first started I was somewhat nervous myself. Food is always tasty for what it is.

I don't care what anyone else says-- I love this place. Yes, we all know that this is not the authentic Latin food eatery, but for an American Latin fast food place? It's super! I especially love coming here when I have coupons because I can get a whole family meal (a whole chicken and two sides) for just over $11. Keep your eyes peeled for Sunday papers and community magazines/flyers. Pollo Tropical + their garlic cilantro sauce = perfect match made in taste bud heaven.

If your in a hurry don't settle for the nearby Wendy's or BK dollar menu , go to pollo tropical and get more bang for your buck. It's not as good as Boston market but it gets the job done if your limited time wise. Got the 1/4 chicken value meal with white rice and black beans for less the 4 bucks.
